Fiduciary Training for 401(k) Plan Committees

Welcome to our session on ERISA Fiduciary Training for 401(k) Retirement Plan Committee members. As a member of a Retirement Committee, you are a fiduciary. You may not realize it, but you are serving a very important role for the employees of your organization. To help you appreciate the importance of this role, today we are going to discuss ERISA fiduciary standards for 401(k) retirement committees.

This session is led by our President and Founder, Chip Hunt. Over the past 32 years, as a retirement plan advisor, his efforts have been dedicated to working alongside of plan fiduciaries and guiding them through their oversight duties and responsibilities for 401(k) plans under their stewardship.

Over the next 30 minutes or so, Chip will provide you with a solid framework for understanding your responsibilities as a retirement plan fiduciary and explore a set of fiduciary best practices that shape effective fiduciary oversight for retirement committees.
